Join us on January 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. for our first LICSPA General Meeting of 2021!
Our meeting will begin with our guest lecturer - Rollie Carencia, Director of Student Life at the School of Professional Studies at Columbia University in the City of New York.
Topic: What is Your Brand? How to Craft & Tell Your Story
Understanding who you are (aka your brand) and what stories you share with the world matters. Whether you're interviewing, working towards a promotion, or you simply want to communicate more effectively with colleagues, aligning your unique personality, values, strengths, and experience with your goals is the first step on the path to confident self-expression and building an authentic personal brand. This workshop will explore the difference between story and narrative, the many ways by which we tell stories, pinpoint and assess your brand assets, and discuss strategies to effectively craft and tell your story as a student affairs professional.
